What we're about

From 5.30pm to 7:00pm on the first Friday (usually) of each month a legal seminar will be presented in Sydney (the venue changes so take particular note in relation to specific seminars). Please check the dates of seminars (sometimes the seminar is scheduled for a Friday that is not the first Friday of the month and we don't have one in January and we typically don't have a monthly legal seminar immediately after a Full 10 Point Conference occurs).

Although our monthly programme was free for a long time we have transitioned to a small fee ($11.00 to register, inclusive of goods and services tax) as we were taking up too much room in city venues on Friday nights without the guarantee of a return to the venue. Although we implored Attendees over time to put their hands in their pockets and buy a drink or two we were not successful in extracting enough funding for these venues to continue to accommodate us without a guaranteed return. We had an expectation that by bringing bodies to venues that that would translate into a positive outcome for the venues, regrettably that expectation of symbiosis did not lived up to its expectation. Registration fees will be applied to a bar and/or food tab at the respective venues.

Non-Practitioners: You are welcome to attend and participate in discussion at any of the legal seminars (unless specified otherwise).

Legal Practitioners: To assist you in meeting your professional obligations, Meetup will keep a record of your attendance at these CLE/CPD events so long as you are a registered member of this group (just access the information in your 'My profile' tab).

Each monthly seminar is worth 1.5 CLE/CPD points as described in the details about the respective seminar and the CLE/CPD points at the Full 10 Point Conferences are as described in their respective schedule.

See you at the next seminar :-)
