Melb Django Girls coding workshop is your opportunity to learn how to code in a safe & supportive environment, we encourage applications from all women, trans and non-binary people. The workshop has a section for beginners, where you learn from scratch, as well as a section for our returning djangogirls to learn additional tutorials! Each participant will work alongside their peers, supported by numerous mentors, to complete Django based tutorials from open source DjangoGirls materials*. All you need to bring is a laptop and a learning mindset! The format of the tutorials is a self-guided coding workshop, including instructions, with the available help of mentors who work in the Melbourne tech space. On the day of the workshop, event registrations will begin at 10:00 am and we will conclude with an afternoon tea & wrap-up at 3:00 pm.
