Play a game of 3 Sided Soccer at Albert Park
3 Teams. 3 Goals. Hexagonal Pitch. A game of alliance and betrayal in equal measure. We're back at Albert Park now the F1 has completed. We are looking for new players and returning players alike to come play a match. If you've never played before, that's okay - the rules are as simple as this: - There's no offside - roam where you will - Defend your goal at all costs - No hands (this is soccer-style football after all) Come down for 10am, we usually allocate teams and warm up for the match starting at 10:15. Three thirds are played of 25 minutes each so we're usually done by 12pm. All fitness and soccer skill levels more than welcome and encouraged! We meet near the astroturf pitches on the southern end of the lake.

What we're about

It's soccer, but not as you know it. 3-sided soccer, not to be confused with 3-a-side soccer - literally a match of soccer but played with 3 teams and 3 goals instead of 2 and played on a hexagonal pitch instead of a rectangle.

3-sided soccer / football is a fast-paced game of alliance and betrayal as teams compete to concede the least number of goals. It's played over 3 "thirds" and results in matches that are closely scored but much more freeform than many games of even 5-a-side soccer. We play weekly at Albert Park at one of the locations starred below.

Teams are mixed and most players are in their 30s and 40s and of various fitness levels.

If you want more information about the principles of play please see this document. (

How to find us - we usually play at one of the three points located on this map.
