What we'll do

Our good friends VLine have decided to do works on the line on the 21st so we are moving date to the week after, please confirm if you're still available.
hi Riders, let's go for a jaunt along quiet semi-rural roads in the Cardinia-Casey area. We'll be visiting Koo Wee Rup and Tooradin, where we'll share an early lunch with the pelicans.
The ride is 75 kms on fairly flat terrain, there some small hills at the end of North Road, last 7-8 kms we'll be riding on the Peninsula Link Trail. We'll be keeping a lively pace of around 20-24 k/hr aiming to get to Frankston at @ 2.00 pm. Ride is classified as MEDIUM, any type of bike with 25 mm tyres and over would be OK

The 7.25 am train from Southern Cross arrives at 8.52 am.
Keep an eye on the dates as VLine and Metro Trains are as reliable as an ashtray on a motorbike!
Ride is open to financial MBTC members only, so if you're a visitor you'll have ample time to come on 3 introductory rides, join the club and come along this fantastic outing.
You can join Melbourne Bicycle Touring Club Inc. at http://www.mbtc.org.au/membership/
Annual fee is $25.00 Benefits include other rides not listed on Meetup, special event meetings, social events, RWGPS club subscription, etc.
