Warmer weather is on the way and with it the opportunity to get the best kind of workout around!
If you're not sure what an extreme bar workout is google or youtube and you'll know straight away. This is a group for people interested in all sorts of outdoor exercise. You don't need to be a pro but you'll need a good foundation of strength and fitness to start with. Might be a good alternative for people who aren't quite in love with crossfit, those with a gymnastics background, climbers or just your everyday gym goer who wants something a little more fun and intense!
Basic things we like to do a lot of:
Muscle ups (slow, fast, with claps, however!) Front levers, Back levers, Flags, Handstand pushups (on the ground, on the bar, dip bars etc) L sits, Ring workouts
This might be a small group to start off with so meets will work around people's schedules and will most likely take place at any one of the great spots around the inner city suburbs - Richmond, East Melbourne, North Melbourne, wherever else you know that works.
If you want to be creative with your workouts, build real, functional strength or just stack on some muscle and get fit at the same time please come along!
