What we'll do

IMPORTANT: How will you find everyone from our group?
I'll have a sign that says "Meetup" and will put it on display on the table on the couch area. Make sure you RSVP so I know to wait for you (if nobody arrives by 12:30 I will head off). Generally we're there until 1pm or so.

Almost always: We'll be on the couches near the bar.
Sometimes: On the balcony in the non smoking area (directly above Little Lonsdale St).

So how does it work? First of all, this event is for you and will only be as good as you make it. So please arrive early (or on time), chat to people, if you RSVP then please attend, and help this event to be great! This event is open to you and your friends! For a casual afternoon you have the opportunity to meet someone new. Or, say hi to people you know from our group. Turn up and have a chat with the people that have decided to drop in. All age groups welcome.
It's only a short time out of your day, so it really does not matter if it is only 3 people that show up, or 30 people that show up. Maybe it will be all girls or guys and you can make some new friends? Maybe they will be single? Grab a bite or grab a drink or read a book while you wait for others to show up. It's happy hour all day on Sunday. Say hi to the people that have also come along. Stay for as long or short a time as you like. If you decide to stay past 12.30pm then everyone that has also decided to stay longer may want to swap phone numbers with you, or possibly head down stairs for a private coffee.
It's entirely up to you how you decide to run your afternoon.
***For safety reasons please RSVP if you are going to this event so people recognise you. Make sure your photo is clear. This event may also be run through other Meetup Groups. Entrance is along Little Lonsdale Street, and up the stairs.
