Yoga and Meditation classes incorporating mindfulness with Nadira BREATHE Breathing in, I calm my body and mind. Breathing out, I smile. Dwelling in the present moment The only moment. ~ Thich Nhat Hahn Yoga has many known health benefits; but did you know that a weekly practice such as yoga or meditation can yield mindfulness based stress relief to most people suffering from anxiety, stress and depression? It also helps protect against most degenerative diseases as it heightens the mind-body connection that is imperative to good health and vitality. The “monkey mind” feeds off the stress that is stored in your body. A consistent Yoga practice can alleviate stress and even reprogram your DNA to have the relaxation response as the default setting rather than stress and overwhelm. The immediate benefits you enjoy are a more peaceful and calm state of mind; with better quality sleep and lesser junk food cravings. Want to give it a try? This is a small and intimate group environment where you get to practice in a peaceful and relaxed manner. This is a class for all levels; where beginners are warmly welcome! This is a small studio setting with maximum of 7 students per class, so you practice in a safe, warm and inviting environment. First Class $10 Cost: $20 Casual drop in; $85 for a 5 class pass, $160 for a 10 x class pass (this is to help encourage you to keep a consistent practice) Tuesdays 7pm – 8.15 pm The class will be 1 hour and 15 minutes covering asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques) and sound healing with guided meditation. Things to note before you come to class: Please ensure you do not eat at least 1.5 hours before class. Bring a water bottle Mats are provided and organic tea is served after each class.

This group is based in South Eastern Melbourne (Glen Waverley) and is all about heightening the mind-body connection with mindful practices such as yoga, meditation and proper nutrition to promote better health outcomes to live our best lives yet including improving our relationships with ourselves and others.

Here you'll find an alternative to the busy world outside, an authentic and genuine Yoga practice that honours the traditional and ancient wisdom, set within a warm and friendly environment; a safe place to get in touch with your authentic self. The emphasis will be about tuning into your body to heighten the mind-body connection to constantly be in the flow of life rather than struggling against it, as you get through your busy daily life.

My intention in setting this group is to provide a warm and inviting environment where like-minded people get together to share information and support each other as we go through our own personal journeys; and have a chat about life, love and have a hearty laugh over a cuppa.

The Yoga and meditation classes/courses will be according to your level, including Workshops and information sessions that serve to bring the holistic benefits through mindful daily living.

A bit about me:

The catalyst to my transformation was Yoga and meditation, where my yoga mat was where I got re-acquainted with myself to better manage my stress levels and health concerns towards a mindful life. I firmly believe the act of being silent and still helps your inner voice be heard to know what your soul truly desires to be the best version of yourself.

I am committed to share my experiences on my own journey to incorporate the holistic benefits of mindful living into daily activities and love to share my passion to help as many people realise the infiniteness that lies within each of us, to be the best versions of ourselves.
