What we're about
Welcome to Motorcycle Newbies & Seasoned Riders.
This group is for people who are new or experienced riders (ladies and gents) on all types of bikes.
Unlike other groups, this site is for members to support each other through day trips, overnight trips, smaller local adventures and pub lunches.
If you have a ride you think would be a good day out, please get in touch with an Event Host or Organizer to post it up and get it happening.
Join the group, start having some fun and meet some great people...
This is a Group of people (that ride at their own risk) and is not run solely by the organisers, if you wish to post a ride we are sure many other riders with be willing to join in on the fun.
We discourage negativity and discouraging comments on other peoples rides, as it takes thoughts and preparation in posting a ride. Rides posted that suggest breaking the law will not be tolerated. YOU WILL BE BANNED FROM THE GROUP. We do not want to be targeted by revenue raisers or be responsible for a rider getting injured.
The number one aim of this group is to support Newbies and get them out on the roads, however, we have 3 different groups for rides:
will cater specifically for Newbies and will be very slow paced.
Newbies and Seasoned rides:
will be a combination of both groups of riders concentrating on helping the Newbies.
will be for the more experienced riders in the group.
All group rides are speed limited !
If you do attend rides you must have the relevant licence, your bike must be registered, and your helmet legal, you must also be experienced in and familiar with the operation of motorcycles and fully understand the risks and dangers inherent in motorcycling. You are voluntarily participating in the event and you expressly agree to assume sole responsibility for the safe operation of your motorcycle and to accept the entire risk of any accidents, property loss, personal injury, including death, which you may suffer as a result of participation in any event within Motorcycle Newbies & Seasoned Riders and further understand that you assume all risks in participating in the any event.
Looking forward to meeting you all,
Rob Ferrie ( MN&SR Organiser )
