What we'll do
We have a successful history of developing Edtech startups on the north shore (eg ASX:3PL --> Mathletics and Spellodrome) and on this night we'll explore everything relating to how to start and grow your Edtech venture: from how to develop your idea into a digital solution, how to crack the market, how to get your product sold to a thousand schools and how to demonstrate value adding to school principals and decision makers.

Mark launched Literatu (http://about.literatu.com) into the global K-12 education market in 2012 after selling his successful Risk Management software company in 2009.
Literatu's key milestones:
• 3 international awards for education technology, including BETT Asia 2014
• 60,000 users in Singapore and a partnership with TATA India to deploy across their 1200 schools.
• B2C assessment app for MacMillan India, supporting 2m (6m in 2018) text books in private schools.
• Penetrated other markets including: Virginia USA, Guatemala, Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia.
When not travelling throughout Asia, Mark mentors young Australian entrepreneurs and is on the Board of a private school in Sydney.

Jamie is on a mission to empower people to thrive in the 21st century. He founded the education technology company Neutopia, (http://neutopia.co) a social learning platform that stimulates curiosity and motivation built with a focus on learning communities. He is a founding partner of The New Human Summit, an online summit which explores a range of topics such as the future of work, future of education, social business, and the evolution to decentralized systems, through panel conversations.
Jamie has taught hundreds of students across programs he designed in entrepreneurship and social enterprise at the undergraduate and masters level at several universities and is a mentor at UTS for the MBAe program. With a background in the film industry in screenwriting and special effects including VR/AR he specializes in designing cutting-edge curriculums for a variety of clients that harness the techniques of storytelling within the world of education to innovate how learning happens.
