What we'll do

This talk is for teachers, friends of teachers, parents, friends of parents, and for anyone who knows of children at school.
Bring your stories about NAPLAN, HSC, ATAR.
The presentation explains why teachers workload is doubling and three things needed for real assessment change to happen.

Join us and listen to Dr. Darrall Thompson's experience with EdTech in his field of education, and how EdTech will shape the future.

Our amazing speaker:

Dr. Darrall G Thompson MDes PhD

A Masters in Design and a Ph.D. in Education have been the platform for a number of awards in technology-enhanced learning. Darrall's educational research and design thinking have been commercialized by UTS in the form of a software system: REVIEW criteria-based assessment used for assurance of learning and capability development in universities and schools. This was developed by a local company, Academ, in Crows Nest, as part of their suite of software for academics. http://academ.com.au/
