What we'll do

July is the coldest month in Melbourne. Instead of staying close to the heater at home or bar, you have another option: Holiday in warmer states!

From May until October, is the dry season for Darwin, is characterised by warm, dry sunny days and cool nights. Temperatures typically range from 21.6– 31.8°C. It is also the perfect time to explore the more remote areas of the region that can be off-limits during the wet season.

10 days, around 3200km, average 320km driving per day.


We will develop it together, but the places must visit are:

Kakadu National Park

Katherine Gorge (Picture of me 2 years ago)

Litchfield National Park (Picture by me 2 years ago)

Purnululu National Park

Faraway bay

Mitchell River National Park

Karijini National Park

Cable Beach

Horizontal Falls

Coral Bay (Picture by me 2 years ago)


Campsite deposit fee $120. We will use paid caravan parks which with hot water shower and kitchen.

If there's less campsite fee happened, we will refund you the rest. If we have more fee paid, you need to share the cost with everyone.

Group management and donation fee for the 10 days trip, $40.

Meetup ticket service fee (around $3).

So The ticket is $163. The refund policy is 30 days notice.



【Car Pooling 】

We will hire a 12 seats mini van from Darwin airport, and return it at Exmouth airport. We will hire one or two SUV if less than 8 people.

We will share all the cost for cars, include rental, fuel, tolls, etc.

【Foods 】

We will need to share and cook foods together. Share all the cost.

【Hiking and Camping Checklist 】

Please bring them according to your needs. You can refer a checklist we provided.


【Camping gear 】

Please book direct with organiser, and pay in person when you get the gear.


Please be noticed that climate in high country changes, and some campsites with poor facilities. So recommend members with high fitness or rich experience in hard hiking attend this trip, and please bring a warm sleeping bag, otherwise, you can hire from us.
