What we're about
PARRAMATTA STREET SOCCER! Free community soccer in Parramatta EVERY WEEK!
Street Soccer is a weekly training session, there are 18 locations across Australia. Participants get together in a safe and non-threatening environment, allowing them to get fit, make new friends and seek support and advice from their coaches.
There is no cost to attend, and we provide a free lunch and two dedicated coaches.
Street Soccer is all about having fun and meeting new friends. It is a community initiative of The Big Issue and aims to ensure that everyone gets the opportunity to play soccer, regardless of your ability or background. Street Soccer takes place every Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30pm at Robin Thomas Reserve, corner of Harris & Macquarie St, Parramatta. Just bring suitable footwear for playing outdoor soccer. Free lunch is provided!
Anyone over the age of 16 is welcome, there are no restrictions on your ability, skill-level, gender or background. Come and give it a try!
