Come and sing with us!
Join us for a fun, informal, no-singing-experience-necessary rehearsal of SHE Choir Auckland! If you've been before, it'll be great to see you again - and if this is your first rehearsal, it'll be great to meet you! (And don't worry, every week we'll recap what was done the week before, so it doesn't matter if you can't make it every time.) We meet at The Open Book on Ponsonby Rd - a lovely secondhand bookshop with a handy piano. They are kindly letting us rehearse there for free but a koha is appreciated. At the moment, rehearsals will be weekly on Tuesdays at 6.30pm, lasting around an hour. Please update your RVSP so we can keep track of numbers, and so your spot doesn't go to waste if you can't make it. Get in touch if you have any questions, access requirements, or just want to say hi before the rehearsal. Looking forward to singing with you soon! A bit about SHE Choir SHE Choir is a vibrant collaborative choir community for all who identify as women. What we're about

SHE Choir is a vibrant collaborative choir community for all who identify as women.

There are currently SHE Choirs in London, Manchester, Newcastle, Berlin and Melbourne - and Auckland is the newest one! Find out more about the choir network here: http://shechoir.com/

If you'd like to be part of a non-auditioned (no experience necessary!), fun, brand new choir, this is the group for you.

We rehearse on Tuesdays 6.30-7.30pm @ The Open Book on Ponsonby Rd. Singing original arrangements of pop, rock, indie, r&b and more, each SHE Choir is run by its members and represents a space to build your creativity and confidence (as well as make some lovely new friends).

We're aspiring to grow collaboratively, with members as involved in the various aspects of running the choir – musically, administratively, socially – as you wish. If you'd just like to come along and sing, that's great too.
