Find a venue near you - and if you don't have a class near where you live - why not start one yourself? We run an online program to do just that - see our website link below for more info. WEEKLY SKILLFUL MIND MEDITATION CLASSES

DO YOU NEED A WEEKLY CLASS - TO GET YOUR MIND BACK ON TRACK?

Peter Radcliffe (http://www.skillfulmind.com.au/about-us/ourteam/peter.html) and his team (http://www.skillfulmind.com.au/about-us/ourteam.html) love running weekend meditation retreats, and offering excellent insights and value. But not everyone can make it to a retreat - or if they have been on retreat find it hard to keep motivation and momentum. So Peter and Mardi went to work to create and train a team of Meditation Leaders - that now offer classes around Adelaide - to make the art of meditation even more accessible to you, and all that would like to bring more inner peace to their lives.

Meditation has been scientifically proven to enhance your life in many ways: - Naturally reduces your experience of stress - Increases mental focus and productivity - Improves your ability to make better life decisions - Increase your overall sense of confidence - Develops positive personality traits, such as compassion, forgiveness and inner peace. Come along to the Byards Community Centre in Happy Valley on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm - 8.30pm to spend time with like minded people and learn more about how your mind works and ways to bring meditation into your life as a new healthy habit. 5 week Course begins Jan 15th - Feb 12th 7.30pm - 8.30pm $50 for a 5 session pass $15 for a casual visit Organic Tea, Chairs, and meditation cushions are provided, however please feel free to bring along your own stool, cushion or mat. Brighton Health and Wellbeing Corner - Feet Divine Reflexology Office

WHAT STYLE OF MEDITATION WILL BE TAUGHT? The sessions will include a range of meditations from mindfulness and insight that Peter Radcliffe (Founder & Director of Skillful Mind) has found popular with retreat attendees over the years. Some meditations will be simple guided meditation, where you simply follow the voice of the Leader, and some will give your mind a bit of a workout - helping you become more aware of your thoughts and feelings. The teachings are non religious but many stem from ancient teachings of Buddhism, Hindi and other traditions. Everyone is welcome. DO I HAVE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE IN MEDITATION? Not at all. Our classes are designed for everyone. Complete beginners and experienced meditators are welcome to attend. DO I HAVE TO GO EVERY WEEK? To give even more value we now offer 'mini meditation 5 week courses' that will explore different ways meditation can benefit you in different areas of your life. You can come and join anytime, but we recommend you attend every week. This helps keep up your motivation towards a successful meditation practice that will enhance your life. Every week Leaders are provided with Skillful Mind session plans and attending all sessions will give you the benefit of a greater way of experiencing different kinds of meditations, and learn about what suits you. WHY SHOULD I ATTEND WEEKLY MEDITATION SESSIONS? Meditation and mindfulness are said to be the keys to happiness and joy. Building a daily practice can be challenging, and including a weekly session can help increase your motivation to make meditation a habit - and stick with it, while giving you the opportunity to share your journey with like minded souls. HOW LONG ARE THE SESSIONS? Sessions go for approximately 45/50 mins, but don't worry, you wont have to sit still all that time! WHAT IS PROVIDED? We have chairs,blankets and cushions in the room but you are also welcome to provide your own. Payments The first session is always free. If you choose to keep attending, our sessions are $15 for casual attendance of $50 for 5 classes. A card will be created for a 5 class pass. There will be about 3 months to use the 5 class pass, however these may be extended on an individual basis, just let us know. Please note that we advertise in many places.
