To enter the property you need to be travelling south on Pearson St, approx 250 mtrs from the Hale Road traffic lights to turn left. There are 2 rough driveways. 1st is just past the bus stop and 2nd just beyond

What we'll do

Learn crochet in a small group with an experienced tutor.
In this class you will learn the popular a versatile building block of crochet, the Granny square
You’ll learn :-
stitches - chain, slip stitch & treble
The stitch pattern to form the square
How to join your squares
Choosing the right yarn and hook combination for your projects and adjusting stitch tension
Changing colours
Weaving in ends

Suitable for beginners or those needing a reminder too

Cost $30
Payment needed to secure your place. I will message you if you say you are attending so we can organise payment

Materials
If you have them, bring your own or I will have a variety of hooks and yarn for sale at good prices.
You will need at least 2 colours of thickish yarn (at least 12 ply) -choose straight yarn with no fancy texture & it’s best to learn with mid to light shades so you can see your stitches clearly. No black, navy etc
Hook - size as recommended on the yarn wrapper or close to
that.
The size of hook needed depends on how tight or lose you end up crocheting.

Class notes, pattern and light refreshments included.
Bring a pen to add to your notes if desired.

N.B. Max attendees is 7 which includes myself as tutor. This gives me time to give everyone individual help.
