What we're about

We are a welcoming group for gay (meaning homosexual) or gay-friendly men in the heart of Sydney. Let's chat, share stories and gossip. Hoping to meet like-minded people or just socialise in a relaxed, casual setting. Shy/awkward people who would like to get out but are nervous, please feel free to message me and we can arrange a pre-event chat to make you feel more at ease if you'd prefer.

We meet regularly in the CBD, especially around the Wynyard Station and Barangaroo/King St Wharf areas, making it an easy option for people working, living or visiting Sydney.

Our events vary from walks and hikes to casual drinks and dinners.

It's always lovely to welcome newcomers to Sydney and help them find their feet, share tips on food, living and entertainment. And if you are a resident enjoying the Harbour City, you are obviously most welcome!

I look forward to meeting you all and sharing a few laughs (and a drink or two!)

Picnic in the Royal Botanic Gardens

Farm Cove

Join us a scenic picnic in the lush and stunning Royal Botanic Gardens: a new and luscious location for our group. Enjoy the view and company as we countdown to the silly season!

Please bring any snacks or drinks you wish, plus a rug.

If the weather is bad, we may change the location or plan on the day.

As always, if you’re attending for the first time and feel nervous or have any questions, feel free to message me.

Death of a Salesman: Sydney Theatre Company production

Roslyn Packer Theatre

Fancy a night at the theatre? Arthur Miller’s iconic Twentieth Century tragedy on a Monday might just do the trick.

As it’s assigned seating, anyone wishing to come along could meet for pre- and or after-drinks and interesting discussion but it’s impossible to organise group seating.

Please only reply Yes once you actually have a ticket!

This Monday session is the only one that worked for me, so apologies in advance. Please note it’s a Night With The Artists event on the night.

Hot tip: the Sydney Theatre Company charges $8 booking fee if online or by phone but $0 if you do it through the box office.

Oxford Street Happy Hour—Christmas edition

The Oxford Hotel

Heavens, what a year it's been. Come say hi and see me off before I fly to Adelaide to be with family over the festive season.

So, join me and some of the regular guys for a catch-up and all good things that flow at a pub.

The Oxford Hotel still has a Happy Hour and meal deals—some venues have removed these because of Covid-19.

Again, with Covid-19 and all, we encourage all attendees to RSVP to help us adhere to public health orders... which will now presumably include being fully vaccinated.

Mardi Gras Fair Day picnic

Victoria Park

No doubt, Fair Day is always one of the highlights of the Mardi Gras Festival and 2022 will prove to be no exception. The event is all about bringing the whole rainbow community together for a day filled with a burst of fun activities, colour and entertainment.

Meet old friends and acquittances and make some new ones, wander through the stalls, learn new things. If you have never been, now is the time!

What better way to enjoy the day than to join us for a picnic right in the grounds of Victoria Park! Watch the passers-by as you nibble on shared picnic delights and sip your favourite beverage. Let’s make this picnic a very special one!
