What we're about

Join us on Facebook as well!

The new home for Sydney's DINK (double income no kids), DINKWAD (with a dog), DINKWAC (with a cat) and SINKWAP (single income with a partner) and anyone else we haven't thought of an acronym for. We're looking for fun and interesting couples to share food, drinks, adventures and much laughter on a regular basis.

Like many couples who don't have kids, we've had many of our friends move into that phase in life and we're reaching out for new people to fill the gap.

In terms of demographic, we're young-at heart-early-30-something-surry-hills'ites seeking like minded couples who are 25ish to 40ish.

Orientation doesn't make *any* difference.

Please note: We expect all our members to agree with that statement. :)

We love going to small bars, seeing live music, checking out events in Sydney, discovering new places to eat and talking into the wee hours of the morning.

If this sounds like you, hit the join button now! If you have an idea for a meetup, let us know.

Frequently Asked Questions:

1) Can I come without my partner?

NO! This is a couples group and we like to get to know you both! Once you've been coming for a while, it's usually okay to attend without a partner and we have advanced warning.

2) I have children but my partner doesn't? Can we still come?

The goal of this group is to meet other couples without children. Our members want to meet other people in the same phase of life, which means they're looking to meet other couples without kids. This might sound unfair, but many of our members come to escape !

3) Something has come up and I can't come to an event I RSVP'd to!

That's fine, life happens! But please note that we regularly book venues and we have 2-strike rule for people who RSVP and either don't show or cancel within an hour of the event. If there's a problem, a text or message is way better than a silent RSVP->No.

I know it sounds harsh, but we usually have a waiting list and it's super-unfair to people who wanted to come!

5) I don't drink! Most of your events look like they revolve around alcohol?

Not so! It just often ends up that way since many of our members like a drink or two. :) We're always open to suggestions of both non-drinking and physical activities, so speak up and help us organise them!

4) Can I promote my business to your members?

NO! This is a couples social group. We're here to meet people and make friends without any kind of agenda.
