What we'll do

There are hundreds of intelligent but readable books that have been recommended and reviewed by Bill Gates on his website: https://www.gatesnotes.com/Books. We explore Gates' reading list together and meet monthly in inner Sydney (near public transport) for friendly and thought-provoking chats over drinks. Newbies are welcome, as always!

OUR AUGUST BOOK IS 'Bad Blood' by John Carreyrou. In his review of the book Gates writes, "I don’t read a lot of page turners. I often find myself unable to put a book down—but they’re not the kinds of books that would keep most people glued to their chairs. Still, I recently found myself reading a book so compelling that I couldn’t turn away."

This is a slight departure from the usual kind of books we read but it comes highly recommended by so many of our members I'm sure it'll grab you before you've even made it to the second chapter.
