GitOps meets Serverless with OpenFaaS and Flux with Alex Ellis (OpenFaaS)
In this session Alex will introduce the concept of Serverless with OpenFaaS, and how the Template Store reduces boilerplate coding making it faster than ever for you to ship APIs to Kubernetes. He’ll then explore some of the common options for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment and wrap up with a demo of how Flux can be used with OpenFaaS. Flux will deploy OpenFaaS from its helm chart and then the Helm Operator will be used to deploy a set of functions.
After this webinar you’ll be able to explore OpenFaaS at your own pace, or integrate Flux into an existing OpenFaaS installation.

Tips for your GitOps Journey in conversation with Javeria Khan (Palo Alto Networks)
Javeria Khan is a Senior SRE, and has been working with Kubernetes for the past 3 years. She’ll do a brief presentation on her development of GitOps first at Branch and then at PANW, where she leads the on-premises Kubernetes infrastructure. She will cover her experience building and scaling production clusters, managing high volume deployments and supporting infrastructure buildup with a special focus on using GitOps to aid developer productivity and infrastructure scaling. We'll then discuss how she got teams on board with GitOps and the various steps for different teams.
