What we're about

Are you interested in increasing the amount of women working in fintech? Would you like to see a rise of women founding fintech startups? Maybe you're you a woman already working in fintech and wanting to meet other like-minded people? Or a male-counterpart who understands the economic imperative to a healthy gender balance and wants to see equal opportunities for their partners, sisters, daughters, etc.

This is a networking group ultimately aimed at increasing the number women in fintech, in a casual setting over some drinks! We have 2 objectives:

1. to increase the number of women in fintech

2. to better support the women already working in fintech

This isn't about political correctness or corporate social responsibility. This is about solving a real business need. It's about making entrepreneurial opportunities in fintech accessible to 50% of the market. Women have an enormous contribution to make towards the creation of new ideas and businesses, and equally, represent half of the consumers of the businesses of the future. It's also about providing opportunities for wealth creation to women of all ages.

This initiative was soft launched by Stone & Chalk in November 2015 and we are now excited to be opening it up to a anyone who would like to join us in reaching our objectives. As Asia's largest fintech innovation hub, home to over 95 fintech startups, we're doing what we can to help power the movement. We hope you will join us.
