What we're about
Women Walking to Wellbeing is a social group for women over 45 who want to move more and make new friends.
Sydney can be a challenging place to meet new people, particularly as you get a little older or move from place to place.
The idea is that we go for a 1 1/2 - 2 hour walk on Wednesday mornings — generally somewhere around the eastern suburbs, but once every six weeks at an alternative location — and have a coffee/tea together. Our walks are early in the morning leaving the rest of the day free. We also go out to dinner or high tea occasionally, which regular walkers are very welcome to attend.
Your first walk is free. After that membership is $20 per annum (charged at your second walk), unless you're experiencing hardship, in which case speak to me. MeetUp charges are costly and this fee goes some way to covering my costs.

PLEASE NOTE: INACTIVE MEMBERS (who haven't gone to the page site or walked in the last 6 months) WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE GROUP, BUT ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO REJOIN SHOULD YOU WANT TO WALK WITH US!
P.S. If you want to bring a friend e.g. a visitor to Sydney, the group is happy to accommodate them if we have enough spaces. Please ask first. Regular friends are welcome to join the group. Thank you :-)
