What we're about

Dragon boat racing is one of the fastest growing sports in Australia today. It attracts a wide range of people from different cultural backgrounds and age groups with different levels of fitness, making it one of the most diverse sports available in Australia today.

The Yarra River Dragons, one of the largest clubs in Melbourne. We compete in regattas, championships locally, regionally and overseas and we are social, fun and an easy-going bunch!

You will find us training around Victor Harbour, but we also like to explore Melbourne with social events like dinners, trivia nights, weekends away and other events.

We are looking for like-minded, sociable people who like the outdoors and have a sense of adventure to join our club. It doesn't matter if you don't have any experience of the sport as we will be there to help train you up! You don't have to be super sporty or really fit, just keen to have a bit of an adventure and some fun.
