Legacy isn’t a list of accomplishments or a family tree. It’s the moment that taught you something — the moment that changed how you move through the world, and the one you now carry forward into the lives around you. In this session, we take one real moment from your life and learn how to shape it into a story that reveals what you learned and what you give.
We’ll begin with a gentle warm‑up to help you locate the “moment before,” the small lead‑in that sets the scene. Then we’ll explore a set of nostalgic situations to help you find the emotional center of your memory without getting stuck in the past. From there, you’ll choose one defining moment — not the whole story, just the part that taught you something — and we’ll build it out together using simple, clear techniques.
You’ll learn how to:

  • identify a legacy moment that still lives in you
  • shape the “before,” “during,” and “after” so the meaning becomes visible
  • write from memory without pressure, critique, or performance
  • discover what you learned and how it continues to move through your life

This is a supportive, hands‑on writing session with time to write, time to reflect, and space to share if you choose. Every class in this series stands on its own — no prior sessions needed.
