Boots On The Ground Picnic Party! Saturday 8/9/25 11am-5pm

Black LOVE & Friends is having a “BOOTS ON THE GROUND PICNIC PARTY”! 😊

DATE & TIME: Saturday, August 9th from11:00am-5:00pm! LOCATION: Blacklick Woods Metro Park, 6975 E. Livingston Ave., Reynoldsburg 43068. (NOTE: We will announce EXACTLY where we will be as time gets closer).

THIS IS A BIG EVENT FOR US! CALLING ALL MEMBERS, MEN AND WOMEN! We want EVERYBODY to come join in for this event! We NEED & WANT YOU TO BE HERE THAT DAY!

Since this is a Western theme, come with whatever you like to make the theme; cowboy hats, boots, jeans, kerchiefs, etc.!

Your active participation is needed: You will bring food, drink OR other items needed, we’ll need someone to DJ (someone with a bluetooth speaker and playlist), someone to handle games, and my setup/cleanup team.

FOOD: We want you to bring something BUT bring it SMALL. Too much food will go to waste! Let us know what you’ll be bringing. I’ll make a list of who is bringing what. We desire: Meats (ribs, steaks, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, metts, veggie burgers), potato salad/macaroni salad, pork n beans, mac n cheese, fruit salad, corn on the cob, bread, hamburger buns, hot dog buns, relish & any condiments (mustard, mayo), snacks, Coke/Pepsi/Lemonade/Sprite/Gatorade, napkins, utensils, ice, packaged water, desserts, etc.

GAMES: We like corn hole, card games, frisbee, volley ball, and more. Someone can be responsible for this.

MUSIC: Ahhh, old school, throwback, new sounds (WHERE THEM FANS AT?? 😊) Someone can be our DJ.

I’ll be bringing a lot of things like charcoal, grilling chimney, a cooler, ice, tablecloths, etc. Again, I will make a list of who is bringing what. Any concerns, message me or comment on our Event page.
