Woodpecker Walk - Mercer Meadows (6ish miles)

Shh! Be very very quiet - we are searching for woodpeckers.

This will be a 6ish mile moderately paced, mostly flat walk on some of the wooded nature trails as well as some of the paved paths in Mercer Meadows Park. Along the way we'll stop at some of the bird blinds, viewing platforms, and anywhere else that we hear or spot woodpeckers.
Don't forget to bring binoculars and/or camera with a long lens.

We'll begin introductions at 9am in the Reed-Bryan Farm Parking Lot located on Federal City Road in Pennington, NJ. Restrooms usually available.

Remember to wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather and bring a snack and water.
