Mount Barney weekend away

Join us for a weekend away at Mount Barney Lodge from Friday 12 to Sunday 14 September 2025. This will be a time of Christian fellowship, time in nature 🌿, and relaxed evenings by the 🔥 fire.

Accommodation has been booked across Foresters Hut and Morningararah Homestead. Each person will have their own bed, but please note the homes are mixed-gender with shared amenities. You’ll need to bring your own bedding 🛏️.

NB: You will need to bring your own bedding and towels.

We’ll be doing two hikes during the weekend. On Saturday, we’ll walk to Cronin Creek Falls, which is a 14 kilometre return track and considered easy. On Sunday, we’ll do the Lower Portals walk, which is seven kilometres return and rated easy to moderate 🥾.

The cost is $200 per person. The more people book the more the fee reduces and any surplus will be used to provide shared food and snacks. Please note we’re unable to cater for individual dietary needs. Food arrangements will be confirmed later.

Please be aware that this is a rain-or-shine trip. There are no cancellations or refunds. If the national park is closed for any reason, the weekend will still go ahead. It will be a great opportunity to rest, reconnect, and enjoy time together in God’s creation ✨.
