What better way to spend your Saturday than jumping on some top ropes and having some fun in the sun! Weather permitting we will set up at Camel's Hump in Mount Macedon.
All levels welcome, whether you're an absolute beginner or seasoned veteran. There is also some sport climbing there for those with an indoor lead pass and their own gear.
We'll aim to arrive at the carpark around 9am, and I'll organise the carpool closer to the date.
Bring some snacks/lunch/water with you, as we will climb until late arvo or until we're all pumped out.
Gear you will need includes a climbing helmet (bike/snowboard helmets are not acceptable), harness and rock climbing shoes. If you don't have these items, they can be hired the week before the trip at the club gear room which is open on Tuesday and Thursday nights - see roc.org.au.
Costs for the trip will be $10 for gear hire, and petrol costs will be divided up amongst everyone after the trip which I'm imagining will be around $15 or so.
Let me know if you've got any questions and can't wait to send some climbs with you all.
See you all there!
