New Boston Farmers Market

Details

That will be us on the bandstand at the New Boston Farmers Market! The market is open 10-1 p.m., and we've been asked to perform for two hours, plus an hour for breaks. Please plan on arriving by 9:45 to set up.

I ruthlessly pared down the song list to the 30 or so songs we play best. At Kathy's suggestion, I added Blowing in the Wind and Where Have All the Flowers Gone -- both easy and familiar songs. The tabs for those two songs are in the 2025 Songs folder.

These are not in playing order. Creating two set lists for the gig is my next project.
Set 1

  1. Garden Song
  2. Rainbow Connection
  3. Puff the Magic Dragon
  4. Big Rock Candy Mountain (Tom Chapin Version)
  5. You are My Sunshine
  6. Jamaica Farewell
  7. Moonshadow
  8. Stray Cat Strut
  9. The Lion Sleeps Tonight
  10. Wagon Wheel

Set 2

  1. Can’t Help Falling in Love
  2. Where Have All the Flowers Gone?
  3. Teach Your Children
  4. Fish and Whistle
  5. Everyday
  6. When Will I be Loved
  7. Down on the Corner
  8. City of New Orleans
  9. Bad Moon Rising
  10. Rocky Top

Set 3

  1. Bare Necessities
  2. Teach Your Children
  3. Blowin' in the Wind
  4. Wellerman
  5. Eight Days a Week
  6. Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard
  7. Have You Ever Seen the Rain?
  8. Take Me Home, Country Roads
  9. This Land is Your Land
  10. Will the Circle Be Unbroken

Please come even if you're only comfortable playing some of the songs on the set list. There will also be slots for anyone who wants to solo a few songs.

I asked about lunch. There are food trucks, but not always, and some vendors sell baked goods. So if you need a substantial meal you might want to pack something.
