What we’re about
Formerly Conversation Culture.
The name was a little too confusing; too many people came along believing that this was a group of people that were interested in talking about different cultures. Some even mistook the group's name as "cultural conversations".
I want to start this up again and make it more straightforward.
This is a forum for people to discuss how the world works and how life works. Politics, Philosophy, Economics and History are all on the table. (The division of knowledge into categories is ultimately artificial, as everything is connected.)
We want to learn from each other's perspectives and expose ourselves to many different ways of thinking and collaborating to reach a deeper understanding of the world.
It's also supposed to be a place where we can disagree intensely on serious matters and remain cordial. This part might be aspirational; it can be difficult in practice, but we're committed to doing our best.
