What we'll do
** Let's meet under the clock at Melbourne Central at 11 AM. We will be taking the train to Laverton. Please remember to bring your myki. You will need either myki pass or $6.40 on myki money for the return journey. You can also board the train from any station on the route or meet us at Laverton Station. Please remember to carry takeaway lunch and water.

Length: 9 km
This 2-3 hour walk will be along the nature reserves of Laverton and Altona. You will get to see many woodland and water birds, hear local frogs and will see a panoramic view of Melbourne. We will start the walk from Laverton Station and walk via Laverton creek through AB Shaw, JJ Stewart, DJ Grant and Truganina Park Reserves. We will also climb 100 Steps to Federation for the spectacular view before heading to Altona Esplanade.
