What we’re about
Enjoy a weekly walk around the beautiful streets of Hawthorn.
Meet at Hawthorn Community House on Friday 10am.
We walk for approximately an hour and a half and cover about 8kms. We walk at a reasonable pace and dogs are welcome as long as they are cafe trained!
Wear your walking gear and bring your smiles. At the end of the walk we stop at a local cafe for coffee (and a brownie!!). We are usually back at the community house at about 12.30pm. On school holidays and public holidays, when the Community House is closed, we usually meet elsewhere.
HOT WEATHER POLICY: If The Age (http://weather.theage.com.au/local.jsp) forecasts a 40 degree day on the morning of the walk the walk will be cancelled. If the forecast is for 35 degrees we will do a short walk and finish by 11am.
