FREE TRAIN DAY! Highest rated hike in 'Straya! GRAND CANYON, Blue Mtns, and PUB!

Every step. Every turn. Every look "up", and every look "down"... every glance forward, behind... is absolutely beautiful. The Grand Canyon Hike is a 10/10 - add a free train ride (scheduled by NSW transport for Thurs/Fri only), and let's see if we can get some Friday numbers - never tried before, so let's see how this goes...

Perhaps you have a flexi schedule? Maybe you fancy a Friday off? You feel a sick day incoming (start coughing now)? Let's see if we can get 12-15 hikers for this event - if not I'll cancel it. I'm unsure if our group is big enough for a weekday event, but you don't know if you don't try.

The gold medal went to the Grand Canyon Track – a challenging yet short hike through the lush rainforest of the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park. The 6.3-kilometre circuit passes gently cascading waterfalls, giant ferns and moss-covered rocky overhangs that look straight out of a fairy tale."

THE HIKE
It's a 6.3kms loop. Last time we hiked it, somebody else led (I fell behind to admire all the beauty) - I promise we'll go slower this time to fully take in the scenery. It's beautiful - waterfalls, greenery, views, and more... "fairy tale" "transported to another world" - it's all so cliche, but it's all so true with this hike.

Sorry ladies, Pedro is not in our group, and gents... clearly his blonde Mrs is taken, but their video on YOUTUBE of the hike is beautiful. Wow. I'm ready now.

THE LOGISTICS
a) $10 Cash or PayID on the day.
b) 725am Central Station Departure, 939am Blackheath Arrival for any train go'ers.
c) Last minute Cancels and No Shows... I'm not even going to say it.
d) Hike starts at Grand Canyon Trek at 10am - plenty of time to bathroom, coffee, whatever...
e) Have a backpack filled with... well, you know all this shit by now. Make a list. Be safe. Be smart.
f) Late pub lunch in Blackheath on the way back - it's right across from the train station. Or the golf course we had post-hike beers at had loooovely views - I'll do some research on their food options.
g) Are you driving? Let us know... would be great / you will be compensated to fill up your car for the 10min Blackheath to Hike Start point.
