Features:
- Cambewarra Lookout
- Bomaderry Creek Walking Track
- Lunch at Mountain Ridge Winery
- Dog friendly event

We'll start our day with a scenic drive to our 10am meeting point @ Cambewarra Lookout.

Perched high on the summit of the Cambewarra Range, ‘The Lookout’ commands a magnificent panorama of Shoalhaven City, stretching from Coolangatta Mountain in the north, way down to Pigeon House Mountain just inland from Ulladulla, in the south. The view also includes Point Perpendicular and the beautiful Jervis Bay National Park.
While you’re absorbing the breathtaking views and the natural beauty of the region, you can also observe the wonderful wildlife that inhabits the area. Magnificent King Parrots, Kookaburras and Lyrebirds are regular visitors and the majestic Wedge Tailed Eagles soaring overhead is a sight to behold, while you sip your cappuccino!

We'll grab a coffee or snack and after brief introductions, proceed to Bomaderry Creek Walking Track.

Bomaderry Creek is a small bushland oasis adjacent to the town of Bomaderry. The walk journeys through patches of remnant rainforest, spotted gum forest, dry woodland and small hanging swamps. The small gorge is rich in Aboriginal heritage and sheer sandstone faces.
The track follows Bomaderry Creek which has carved a course through sandstone forming impressive cliffs, rock walls, overhangs and caves.

Dogs are permitted in the park, provided they are always kept on a leash.

The walk is a 5.5-kilometre return walk along the eastern and western tracks which takes about 2.5 hours.

We'll be hungry after our walk and will head to the Mountain Ridge Winery Estate for a late lunch. The onsite restaurant, run by chef Dan Gallo, creates modern Australian cuisine that will delight food lovers.

Sustainability is the credo behind Mountain Ridge Wines, which has a cellar door, restaurant, market garden and accommodation on its site at the base of Cullunghutti Mountain, about 8km south of Berry.
Views over Berry, the village of Coolangatta itself, and Cambewarra and Saddleback mountains form the backdrop to the winemaking here. Wines are created from estate-grown grapes, but also with grapes sourced from sister estates Stone Cottage, and from districts such as the Central Ranges and Hilltops.

Following our lunch, we'll say goodbye after an inspiring day before our drive back home.

Look forward to meeting you
:)
