Arts Exploring and Conversation with Coffee at Maitland Regional Art Gallery

Details
Join me to explore the highly acclaimed Maitland Regional Art Gallery, known by architects and artists for its contemporary gallery spaces linked with the elaborate 1908 heritage TAFE building. If you’re new in town this is an opportunity to discover a local cultural heritage icon, with more than 7000 works by Australian and international artists.
The staff at the gallery main desk will be available to share their knowledge and recommendations for exploring the current exhibitions. Just two of the possibilities are Found by Hunter Valley artist Rebecca Rath with unique views of the local landscape environment, while Malvika Satelkar contemplates the essence of water and floods in Watered-up by Sea.
There will be time after exploring the gallery to relax and enjoy conversation with new friends along with a coffee or lunch in the cosy Séraphine Café.
This is a family friendly event.
