The MoCo Makers community is happy to share a holiday party and fundraising event from our friends at the Rockville Science Center. They are having a holiday fundraiser to support tools in the Rockville Makerspace. Let's meet up with them and have a merry holiday time at this casual social event. The event has a non-standard location - 401 N Washington St, Rockville, MD.

Join us for a fun and delicious evening and help improve the Makerspace and Tool Library! Every ticket, bid, and raffle entry directly contributes to purchasing vital tools and upgrades for our community space.
What to Expect:
Annual Cookie Swap: Bring your best dozen (or more) homemade cookies, brownies, or other sweet treats and a container to fill up! Trade with fellow bakers and take home a custom, varied assortment for the holidays. Vote on the Best Looking and Best Tasting cookie; winners receive $15 makerspace gift cards. (Participation is optional!)
Silent Auction: Bid on items including a unique 3 year membership, items made by members, surplus equipment, woodturning kits, toys, and other items. Every dollar raised goes directly to buying new equipment! (Have something to donate? Please contact Evan)
50/50 Raffle: Try your luck! Purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win up to $150.
Vote for the New Tools: Your vote helps decide how the night's proceeds will be spent. Options include new power tools, a loaner sewing machine, label maker and containers, air purifier, and a space-refreshing paint upgrade.
Complimentary Refreshments: Enjoy a cozy atmosphere with hot spiced cider and a variety of other beverages and snacks.

Admission is just $5 per person, and nonmembers and children are welcome!!
