Summerween is still going strong. ๐ป Looking forward to seeing Sinners at one of my favorite intimate theater venues on Oahu! I was able to reserve 8 seats for us. We can get a quick dinner at one of the nearby restaurants before the movie if you'd like.
Tickets are $5 for Movie Museum members and seniors, and $8 for non-members. Cash only and they prefer exact change if possible, but not required.
(Their annual membership is only $26 and definitely worth it. They also have tons of movies available to rent!)
Please check out their website for additional information, including their mask policy:

๐ข NOTE: If something comes up and you won't be able to make it, please let me know at least 24 hours before the screening so someone else can have that seat.
๐ข OTHER NOTE: If you want to see the movie but weren't able to RSVP for this event, I encourage you to make a separate event for one of the other screenings! Or simply ask in the main group if anyone wants to go. The theater is offering an afternoon screening on July 27th, and two screenings on August 2nd. Horror movies are so much better when you watch them with others.
๐ฌ About Sinners:
Sinners, directed by Ryan Coogler, is a supernatural horror film set in the 1930s Jim Crow South, following twin brothers who return to their hometown after a stint in Chicago and encounter a rising tide of evil. The film uses vampires and other supernatural elements to explore themes of racism, generational trauma, the power of music, and the clash between good and evil.
