The use of different types of knives and swords has a long tradition in magical practices. From the black hilt Witches knife, the single edge working knife of cunning folk, the use of sickles, to a variety of swords all of these are employed in specific forms of magical practices. In this workshop author Kerry Wisner will explore the history, symbolism and practical application of each of these, including their use in protective rites and ward of spirits, the direction of power over long distances, to the role in certain Traditional Witchcraft ceremonies
