Join me for the hike to explore camp, beaches, historic gun batteries and museum at the Fort Worden Historical State Park.

Fort Worden Historical State Park is a sprawling park with 12 miles of hiking trails, overlooking Admiralty Inlet at the entrance to Puget Sound.
Meeting place:
Mountlake Terrace Transit Center

Let meet at the transit center @ 7:50am, leaving 8:00am sharp to catch Edmond - Kingston Ferry at 8:50am. Ferry cost regular car with 4 people $68
Once we enter Fort Worden through Main Gate turn right then left on Harbor Defense Way, drive to the end and park at Point Wilson Lighthouse.

What to bring: hiking shoes, hats, water, snacks, sunscreen, Discover Pass for drivers.
Afterwards we can have late lunch at one of the many restaurants in Port Townsend TBD.
