What we'll do
About 17km loop walk, mostly off-track with 300m cumulative ascent (uphill walking).
Gringer Creek, out from North Bannister.
We'll follow the creek around and back, passing through the Bibbulmun Track hut of the same name. We can't guarantee the flower display in the photo, but you never know.
Plenty of time to soak in the atmosphere of the bush, and argue over the correct pronunciation of "Gringer".
And perhaps we'll end up soaking in the low-lying terrain around the creek. Be prepared to get your feet wet.
NUMBERS ARE LIMITED, YOUR RSVP IS IMPORTANT. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THAT YOU HAVE A SPOT, using your chosen app or the website. If you're listed as attending on the day of a hike and fail to turn up, you'll be marked as a No Show, which may result in your removal from the group. See Numbers, RSVPs, Waiting Lists, Cancellations and No Shows (http://www.meetup.com/redtail-bushwalkers/pages/RSVPs%2C_Waiting_Lists%2C_Cancellations_and_No_Shows).
RSVPs close at 5.00pm the day before the walk.
If you see a place available after that time, you may Message the organiser via Meetup (no texts or emails) and ask to take it.
