What we'll do
On the 26th and 27th November 2016, individuals and groups from around Australia will be joining in to hack for humanity. If you're in Sydney it would be great to see you at the RHoK Sydney event. We're looking for 'hackers' who are passionate about technology. They have varied skills and backgrounds including software developers, business analysts and graphic designers. Our hackers will be working with changemakers from the community who are working to solve a problem, and have a vision for how technology can help reach their goals.
Our goal is to bring together skilled technologists who want to make a difference, and, organisations that have a social impact, in an environment ideal for collaboration and innovation.

Effective Altruism Australia are an organisation who exist to promote effective causes and allow Australians to give money tax-free to effective charities around the world. They're looking to build a donation calculator to help show donors the effect that their donation will have, and to implement a CRM system to track donations more effectively.
Tripclusive - http://tripclusive.strikingly.com
Back for their second RHoK, Tripclusive is a social enterprise that aim to create TripAdvisor for people with a disability - allowing them to independently plan their travel by providing information like whether their wheelchair can fit through the door.

YourSpecialist plans to enhance the PDF of NDIS providers by providing much better search functionality, particularly around allowing those who need care to find carers around their location.
