Bank Holiday 'Weatherproof' Picnic Lunch at The Eagle, Old Amersham

Details
This event can pair with, and follows on from the optional 6 mile Bank Holiday Walk from this same pub, which starts at 11:00am.
This is a bring your own food picnic. The Eagle at Old Amersham is perfect for this picnic lunch, because it has access to Barn Meadow Recreation (Cricket) Ground, and because they don't do food, so they welcome people bringing their own food*, so if it rains we can simply eat inside in the pub.
* As long as it's not too strongly-scented to disturb others, such as strong curry.
To find us, walk through the pub, to the rear terrace and go through the garden gate and walk across the stream and we'll be on the grass the other side of the stream (or in the pub if it's raining). It's actually really easy; the pub's beer garden backs onto the tiny stream and the recreation/cricket ground.
The price for attending this event is £2 to cover costs, or free if you're also attending the walk earlier in the day (follow this link for that walk).
Timing
I've put the start time for the picnic lunch as 2pm to make sure we're back from the earlier walk, but we'll should be back 1:30pm, so if you're happy that you might have to wait a bit, 1:30pm is probably a better time to arrive.
Free Parking
There's free parking in various places along the High Street.
These events are not for children.
If you are unable to attend please be sure to change your RSVP otherwise our departure will be delayed. If you have any urgent (arrival related) messages within an hour of the start time please post them to the event's Meetup page comments.
