Join us for a holiday book exchange. Bring one book you love (used or new) and leave with someone else’s favorite read. Books will be permanently swapped, so choose one you’re ready to pass on. Any genre is welcome: mystery, memoir, romance, nonfiction, fantasy, poetry...
Oldspeak in Garden City is a cozy “book-beer bar” where literature meets libations—pairing a curated indie selection with craft beers from Alliteration Ales and community-driven events in a warm, book-lined setting. In addition to craft beer, they offer mocktails, coffee drinks, and light bites, so there’s something for everyone.
*Oldspeak can only accommodate groups of 10 for meetups, so please be courteous with your RSVPs and cancel 24 hours in advance to allow those on the waitlist to attend.
