Presentation Name: Building an AI Lab - A Journey from Curiosity to Capability
Presentation Abstract: Generative AI isn’t just for coders, it’s a catalyst for innovation, creativity, and transformation across every domain. In this session, Travis will walk the audience through his journey of building a hands-on AI lab using tools like ChatGPT, ResNet, and Foolbox, amongst others. Whether you're a seasoned technologist or a non-technical professional, this talk will show you how to harness AI to amplify your own potential. Attendees will explore both basic and advanced capabilities of generative AI through real-world project examples, including AI model manipulation, adversarial testing, and personalized problem-solving. The talk begins with a challenge to the audience: pick a project you care deeply about, no matter how technical, and use AI to augment yourself. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with ideas, tools, and a fresh perspective on how to build your own AI lab—whether that’s for machine learning experiments or solving complex business or personal challenges
