Saturday Night See/Seafood & Ice Cream Social

Join us for a Saturday evening leisurely meal and ice cream outside! We will be dining at Seafood & Cones on Route 138 in Raynham which has both a covered and enclosed outdoor seating area as well as a covered picnic-style eating area. When we were here last summer they had some lawn games which a couple of us participated in. We order and pick-up at the window. They have both food, with a focus on seafood, and ice cream! Enjoy one or the other or both! Let's enjoy a fun Summer Saturday Night socializing!

We will meet at the outdoor tables, which are behind the building. Exact set of tables tbd based on the weather and availability. I will make that decision and you will be able to find me along with our Meetup tabletop tent sign. Once most of us have arrived or about 10 minutes after our event start time we will do introductions and then start sending attendees up to place their orders. We will rotate through everyone, as soon as 2 people come back then 2 more will go order, ensuring we have 3 people at our tables at all times and our food all comes out around the same time. (ie If there are 12 of us, 8 will go up. When 2 comes back 2 more will go up. When the next 2 come back the last 2 will go up.)

Seeking a volunteer Greeter to help me out tonight! Only requirements are to have attended 2 events, including one in 2025, and to correspond with me regarding arrival. If you tend to arrive early this may be a super easy volunteer gig.
Inclement Weather Date: TBD on a Saturday in August. I'll do my best to make the decision the day prior or that morning to reschedule. I will simply change the date and everything else, icluding all RSVPs, will automatically be retained. Please RSVP based on good weather.

Meeting Place: Look for me and the Meetup tabletop tent at a table or two in one of the two seating areas behind the restaurant. Please allow the Hosts to ascertain our seating area along with (hopefully) a co-host/greeter. We *may* have to wait a few minutes to be seated. If you will be arriving more than 30 minutes after our start time please post a comment below at least 10 minutes prior to the event with your ETA.

Min/Max: Minimum of 6 total, including 4 members and at least 2 2025 AMs, at least 72 hours prior. Max of 18.
Guests: 1 per member; 2025 AMs ~ Your Guest's Event Fee is Waived! (Another perk of being an AM, which you can become at this event.)

Event Fee: $2pp / 2025 Annual Members ~ Free / $10 to become an Annual Member. // All small bills please (1s &5s; 10s for AMs) which is collected when we are paying the bill.

RSVP Deadline ~ ~3 hours prior ~ Sat 7/26 @ 4:00pm (Note: If your plans change please update your RSVP regardless of the time as we can now access this info from our phones. Any changes after this time may be considered a No-Show.) If you will be arriving more than 15 minutes after our start time please post a comment below at least 10 minutes prior to the event with your ETA.

Parking: Free and ample in lot.

**Health Guidelines**

SSDOMG requests you not attend an event if/when:
>You have been exposed to covid-19 in the 10 days prior to the event and have not yet tested negative.
>You are experiencing any sickness up to 5 days prior to the event in which you have not been symptom-free for at least 48 hours, especially if it's contagious.

This is for the safety of the attendees, employees, and our families.

Please update your RSVP, preferably prior to the RSVP Deadline or you may be considered a No-Show. We do have a No-Show Policy which is when you are a Yes/Going RSVP at the RSVP Deadline but do not attend the event.
