About This Trail:
This is a heavily-wooded trail along the Yellow River, just minutes from Stone Mountain. There are miles of trails there, and just a little elevation gain, so the hike is rated as easy.

Notes:
Distance = 6 miles
Time: Budget 3+ hours
Skill Rating = Easy
Pace = 2.5 to 3 miles per hour, so intermediate hikers only please
Special Equipment = None needed, though walking poles might help
Other Stuff = Children that can keep a hiker’s pace are encouraged to come. No dogs please.

Directions/Where To Meet:

3402 Juhan Road, Stone Mountain

Take 78 East toward Stone Mountain. After passing the last Stone Mountain exit, exit right onto Rockbridge Road. After ~ 2 miles, the road splits at a stop light. Stay left onto Annistown Road. Drive ~ 1 mile. Turn right onto Juhan Road. Drive ~ 1 mile, passing a parking lot and bathrooms on the left, then make a left at the stop sign (It will be labeled Mountain Bike Entrance) at the top of the hill. The parking lot is on the right, about 200 yards from the stop sign. Please meet in front of the rest rooms.
