Alameda Ridge Stairs and Barnes Mansion

Details
Meet on the front steps of St Rose of Lima church. After a brief bit of Rose City Park history at the corner of NE 57th and NE Sandy, we will walk along NE Alameda, Wiberg and Wistaria to connect with several flights of public stairs. We'll go as far as NE 34th so we can see the fanciest mansion in the area. It has a double portico with ionic columns and a carriage house!
We now know, thanks to Maria, that this is the Barnes mansion. This time we'll identify any remaining homes built by the Barnes offspring.

PLEASE READ THIS BEFOREHAND FOR DETAILS-I won't remember them all.
There are also many other smashing homes from different eras around.
Get your cardio and social workouts at the same time.
About 4 miles-all on pavement.
Please be able and prepared and KINDLY do not ask me how much farther.
It is easy to get back to the start if you need to drop out.
