Creatively Speaking Toastmasters next meeting will be on Monday November 3 2025 at 6:30 PM.

Creatively Speaking Toastmasters usually meets on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month from 6:30 to 8 PM (meeting space opens at 6 PM). However to avoid conflicts with Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day and Christmas we will be meeting on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month for the rest of 2025. We will resume our 2nd and 4th Monday schedule in 2026.

Please note that our meetings are in person only. We will only meet online if weather conditions make it too risky for us to meet in person. This rarely happens but, if necessary, it will be announced by Noon on the meeting date and a meeting link will be published on our social media sites.

Guests are welcome to join us and don't need to be invited by a member to attend. Just show up on November 3 2025 before 6:30 PM.

Thanks to the Writer's Federation of Nova Scotia our group meets in the Cultural Federations of Nova Scotia building. The CFNS building can be found at 1113 Marginal Road, Halifax, Nova Scotia across from Pier 21. Enter through the door for the WFNS / Writer's Federation of Nova Scotia which is on the harbour side of the building. You'll see a sign for Creatively Speaking Toastmasters in the WFNS door's window and (weather permitting) a sidewalk sign for our Toastmasters club near the door. The WFNS is just past Pizzeria "Tomavinos Ristorante" if you're approaching from the front of the building which houses Garrison Brewing Company.

A VERY IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PARKING!
For over 10 years Parking Lot A, which is located in front of Garrison Brewing, had been free to use after 6 PM. Unfortunately this changed between our first and second meetings in March. Parking is now controlled by IndigoNeo rather than the Port Authority and is now enforced 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. So do not use this parking lot unless you intend to purchase parking. Our members who had parked there unaware that the rules had changed left the March 24th meeting to discover that their cars had been ticketed. On October 6th an attendee discovered the hard way that cars in Lot A are still being ticketed.

Fortunately Parking Lot C, which is located behind the CFNS building and is the large parking lot that extends around to Seaport Farmers Market is still free to use after 6 PM as are the parking meter spots near the WFNS though the meter spots tend to fill quickly in the evening.
