There will be a public screening of the film "A Prayer for Compassion" hosted by the group Vegan Souls Sarasota at Unity of Sarasota. As follows is a brief description of the event, as provided by the hosts: "All of the World's Religions teach compassion, yet we may have unknowingly created cultural norms that have wandered from that basic premise. Please join us as we explore ways to bring that message back to life in today's world. A wonderful sampling buffet will be provided prior to the event. The film's director, Thomas Wade Jackson, and producer Victoria Moran will be Skyped-in after the film. Tickets are available on Eventbrite on the following hyperlink for $5, or $7 at the door." Hi Veggies! My gf and I were eating at this restaurant recently, and we're pleasantly surprised when the staff said the whole buffet they cook fresh in the morning! I had a meetup here about a year ago and def have to make another one out of it. The owner is super kind and is going to have a huge vegan buffet for us! The vegetables are just so fresh, I think this is one of the best indian buffets I've ever been to! There will only be 2 or 3 non-vegan dishes to the side of our buffet for regular customers. If you are joining our meetup group, we ask you eat vegan with the rest of us. If you don't know how, our whole group is happy to show you :) If you can make it out, please RSVP so we know how many people are coming out! This will help the owner be prepared for our group because even one vegan buffet meetup we hosted got a 90 person turn out! If you RSVP, and later realize you can't make it, please change your RSVP to a "No". Thank you! Hope to see you out!
