Experience this 3.6-mile out-and-back trail near Mableton, Georgia. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 14 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and running, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. Starting from the parking lot off Nickajack Road this route heads into the forest and travels alongside Nickajack Creek. Sections of the route follow an elevated boardwalk over that passes over wetlands. The trail's turn around point is at the historic Concord Covered Bridge and Ruff's Mill. The park's main entrance is at the intersection of Fontaine and Nickajack Roads. Here, there is ample parking, restrooms, and picnic spots.
