Tech Talk: Decoding Complexity: Leveraging Knowledge Graphs & LLMs to Navigate Codebases

Abstract: LLM context limits are a real constraint when analysing large codebases and documents. However, knowledge graphs and logical reasoning can help manage your prompt window. In this talk, I use a real-world use case to teardown a large codebase, and document, utilising a Neo4j-powered graph database. Once ingested, we analyse complex structures, dependencies, and logic flow, in natural language using an LLM. Topics include knowledge graph basics, knowledge modeling, and reasoning over text.
